As some of you may know, I work with automotive manufacturers on driving programs. Recently I got to work with these bad boys on a race track. The RCF is a great car.
However, riding with people I have not seen before in my life on a racetrack is a bit...um....nerve wracking.
Enjoy the pics!

This looks...odd. How is it in person?

Have you been traveling with this launch event? I got to go to the one at Kentucky Speedway and enjoyed it quite a lot.
The RC F is a great car. It's not quite an M4, but it's still just as much fun and easily more accessible to the average driver. I am excited to see how Lexus progresses from here.
The NX is going to be a huge seller. For that segment, it's a tremendous buy.

I quite like the look of the RC-F.
Too bad it weighs more than the moon.

Unfortunately I am only working the Consumer portion of the RC Launch. Trust me, I am trying to work them all!
And yes, the RC F is quite accessible and it makes all the right noises and it looks right. I think even more importantly is how good the RC 350 looks.
I hear good things about the NX. We are doing the consumer portion of the NX launch in the spring. I have worked with its competitor, the GLA, and that's a good car. Should be a good segment to be honest.

In person, it looks right. The angle of this picture isn't quite right but I didn't want the sun blinding me.
The design can be a bit polarizing, but in person the proportions are correct and it actually looks quite good. We had one last year but it was in the Lexus camo and it still looked good proportionally. With the final styling done and the camo off, I quite like it.

On track though it doesn't feel too terribly heavy. Unfortunately most cars are subject to bloat because of all the amenities demanded by the average consumer and the newer and better safety systems.
The RC 350 looks really good and gains a sporty look as an F-sport.

I'm not some kind of Lotus fanatic that wants to see every car stripped of everything but the bare essentials. Even for a modern vehicle, the RC is surprisingly heavy.
But it's obvious why, they took three totally separate chassis platforms and combined them into one. If they went with a more holistic approach, it would have cost Lexus more, but I bet they could have kept the weight down. I think it actually weighs more than the current-gen Camaro, which is already rather heavy in its own right.
Still, I love the Yamaha V8s that Lexus uses, and I'm actually a big fan of their interiors.

Couldn't have said it better. Remember this is their first sports car of note. The figures are close to those of the Germans, but you are correct, it is on the heavier side.
The interior is awesome. So much more comfortable than the M4.
Also agree on the V8. Dat noise.

I was not as impressed with the GLA. I like the tough, boxy styling, but the interior is not as nice, the seats are horrid, and there is so much less storage.
It also does not drive as well.
